Building Alliances. Multiplying Impact.

Change at scale is never the work of one organization alone. At Development Consortium, partnerships sit at the heart of everything we do. They bring in the resources, expertise, and reach that allow us to move from pilots to population-level impact and from good ideas to systemic change.

In 2024–25, DC worked across 16 states and 6 domains, touching 4.77 million lives on the ground and 12.71 million through digital platforms. Behind every one of those numbers is a partnership, a foundation that trusted us with a grant, a government department that opened its doors, a company that aligned its CSR priorities with ours, or a civil society ally that brought skills we didn't have.

We are proud to work with some of the world's most respected funders, global networks, and government bodies. Together, we are driving the change that matters.

What a DC Partnership Looks Like

Our partnerships are not transactional. They are built on the shared belief that every child deserves to grow up healthy, every young person deserves access to education and opportunity, and no single organization can make these goals happen alone.

When we partner, we co-create. We bring our on-ground expertise, our community trust built over 15 years, and our rigorous approach to monitoring and evidence. Our partners bring resources, technical knowledge, networks, and ambition. Together, we design programs that are grounded in data, responsive to communities, and built to last beyond any single funding cycle.

We are transparent about what works and honest about what doesn't. We share results in full, the breakthroughs and the setbacks because the strongest partnerships are the ones that learn together.

Partnerships in Action

In Hardoi, Uttar Pradesh, a three-year-old boy named Sameer weighed just 9.4 kilograms, far below what a healthy child his age should. His parents, farmers with no formal education, fed him whatever was available, not knowing what a balanced diet looked like. DC's Sampushti team, in partnership with local Anganwadi workers and the community health system, began a 14-day home-based nutrition programme with his family. They sat with his mother every day, showing her how to include eggs, milk, leafy vegetables, and pulses in his meals. By the end, Sameer had gained 1.4 kilograms. More importantly, his mother now knows exactly what to put on her child's plate, and she is not going back.
In a school in northeast Delhi, twelve-year-old Reyansh had never been flagged as a child in crisis. He was quiet, he showed up, and he kept to himself. But when DC's Student Well-Being Programme screened his class—the first structured mental health screening initiative of its kind in India - his silence told a different story. He was in severe emotional distress, with thoughts of self-harm he had never told anyone about. A counsellor sat with him. He mentioned, almost as an aside, that he liked drawing. That became the turning point. Today Reyansh shares his art online, talks openly with his parents, and tells others: every child deserves this kind of support—especially those who suffer silently.
These are not exceptional stories. At DC, this is what partnerships do every day.

Why Partner with Development Consortium?

Reach into public systems. DC works hand-in-hand with state and central government. giving partners access to the public systems that reach millions of people, not thousands.
Community trust you cannot buy. Our teams work inside communities, not alongside them. The trust we have built over 15 years in places like Hardoi, Trilokpuri, and Rajasthan's most underserved districts is the foundation on which every partnership stands.
Rigorous evidence, shared openly. Every program has a clear M&E framework. We track outcomes, not just outputs, and we share results with partners in full, because your investment deserves accountability.

Cross-domain expertise under one roof. From nutrition and newborn care to digital mental health and LGBTQIA+ inclusion, DC's work spans 6 domains. Partners who want to fund holistically find a natural home with us.

A team that treats partners as co-creators. We don't present a finished programme and ask you to fund it. We design together, learn together, and grow together.
