A development and communication leader with 19+ years of experience, she leads program strategy and impact communication at DC. She also heads Love Matters, India's leading sexual and reproductive health and rights platform. Love Matters operates at the intersection between media and public health and harnesses the power of technology, popular culture, design thinking and storytelling, to bridge the gap between young people and their sexual and reproductive health.
She is also founder of TeenBook, India's first comprehensive life skills resource for adolescents, leading content for its website, social media platforms and The TeenBook podcast, which is India’s first ever podcast for adolescents. A BBC-trained journalist, she is an experienced editorial leader with over 20 years of expertise in media and communication for social change.

Anamika Srivastava
Founder and CEO
Anamika Srivastava, with over 28 years of experience in the development sector, is the Founder and CEO of Development Consortium, a leading social development organization dedicated to driving positive change through initiatives in education, health, gender, and environment.
She has successfully steered the organization's growth and impact, fostering a team of passionate professionals. Anamika comes with a Finance and Legal education background and has worked in the development sector in international non profits, the UN office on Drugs and Crime, International Centre for Genetic Engineering (UN-preveliged orgn) and corporates like Sony India Lts, Pepsi etc. She is adept at managing finance and operations, partnerships, financial controls, audits, internal reviews and provides strategic directions while aligning with government priorities. She leads by example and has strong problem solving skills and manages critical situations with resilience.

Anshuman Prasad
Director - Finance & Partnerships
A Chartered Accountant with 8+ years in finance and social impact, he leads DC’s financial strategy and donor partnerships. Prior to this, he held roles at renowned consulting firms including Deloitte, Price Waterhouse Coopers and Grant Thornton. Anshuman brings with him an impressive skill set encompassing Financial Management, Risk Assessments, Establishment of Standard Operating Procedures and Controls, Internal Audits, and extensive experience in managing assignments in the NPO, FMCG and Insurance sectors.

Anshuman brings a wealth of expertise, further enhanced by his post-qualification certifications from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. These include accolades in Forensic Accounting and Fraud Detection, Business Responsibility and Sustainability Reporting, CSR Professional, and Public Finance and Government Accounting. His dedication to excellence extends to his membership in the Institute of Social Auditors of India, showcasing his commitment to ethical and responsible financial practices.

Shweta Saxena
Head of Technology
A digital transformation expert with 20+ years in tech design, she leads DC’s digital inclusion in health and education systems. Shweta is the Head of Technology at DC's Project Suvita, where she designs and develops innovative technology solutions to enhance Suvita’s programmes, expand its reach, and maximize its impact.

She holds a Master’s degree in Computer Applications from Banasthali Vidyapith and a Bachelor’s degree in Physics from Delhi University. Shweta has previously served as Vice President and Technology Manager at Deutsche Bank, and has also held various roles at IBM India and HCL Tech. Beyond her corporate career, Shweta founded Adopt A Family, an initiative supporting families in Pune who lost their income during the COVID-19 pandemic.
