Nisha is a young social worker from Janipur, Patna (Bihar). Her father passed away a few years ago, and her mother is an ASHA worker, working hard to facilitate both daughters' education. Nisha wants to be a teacher and thus intends to get a B.Ed.
Currently, Nisha is pursuing her BA in Political Science in Patna and has been a stellar scholar under DC's Streeksha program.
Nisha regularly runs information camps for girls in her community. She also participated in DC's Mobikaar programme last year and won the top prize for producing a citizen journalism report on underage marriage. The video is Nisha's final submission for DC's flagship project, Love Matters India's public interest journalism programme Mobikaar (2021 batch), where over 100 participants from Bihar and Jharkhand learnt digital journalism skills over 12 weeks through comprehensive online training.
